Volgens het World Economic Forum zal bijna 70 procent van de nieuwe economische waarde in het komende decennium voortkomen uit digitale platformen. Tijdens het vijfde Power of ESG-event op 19 juni, dat in het teken staat van ‘Tech for Good’, onderzoeken ESG District, KPMG en BNP Paribas Fortis in het Gentse Wintercircus of en hoe dat bijdraagt aan duurzame groei en positieve maatschappelijke impact.
Technologie is niet langer alleen een hulpmiddel om efficiënter te werken. Ze wordt steeds vaker een strategische hefboom voor bedrijven die groei, duurzaamheid en maatschappelijke meerwaarde willen combineren.
Die versnelling roept ook nieuwe vragen op. Hoe zorgen we ervoor dat innovatie inclusief blijft? Hoe beperken bedrijven de ecologische impact van digitale infrastructuur? En hoe kan technologie helpen om niet alleen sneller, maar ook duurzamer te werken?
